Home Hospice

Today, mom arrived home to begin in-home hospice care. When we asked if she knew where she was, she opened her eyes, smiled and said "home". It's so nice to have her here with us and we think she feels more comfortable. We'd like to thank you all again for you cards, thoughts, and prayers. Mom is certainly well-loved by all who know her.

    Suzy's definitely being thought of out here in Ohio, as is the entire Van Sickle clan. Very glad she's comfortable and that you are all there with her...she's certainly very loved.

    You don't know me, but I've had the chance to get to know your son Matt a bit through my daughter Emilie and son-in-law Derek. He's a great young man! Emilie had your blog open here the other day and I took some time to read through your journey.
