Today, Suzy woke up feeling a little better than yesterday. "Well, I guess that's good," she said. It's actually great. She has made small improvements over the past two days, which is encouraging. Her doctor was very surprised to hear mom ask what she was doing for mother's day tomorrow. Two of her good friends from school stopped by last night to chat with her (thank you so much Kathy and Mary) and she said they had a really nice visit. Even better when you get to watch the Suns crush the Spurs. Here's a nice picture of the whole gang taken by mom's amazing neurologist (Dr. Porter). Suzy sends her thanks to everyone for their thoughts, prayers, emails, and cards. This morning, we got to read through quite a few of them, as well as your comments on the blog.

Hi Suzy! Nice pic and what a weekend with mother's day and the wedding day with your family all there. Look how beautiful you all are (even the boys). Maybe Los Suns will beat the spurs again, today, too.
ReplyDeleteWe were at a wedding last afternoon along the potomac with strong winds and bright sun. The whitecaps (really strong wind) on the water got us thinking of Mark and Becky sailing and then of you and all the fun and love your family has brought to our whole extended clan. You are simply one of our favorite human beings. Have a great mother's day and give Rob and Liz our best wishes and congratulations.
tons of love,
Vikram and Dilshika

ReplyDeleteHappy Mothers' Day, dear friend!
What a wonderful picture of you with all of your children! You must be so proud of them all, and so happy to have them with you.
We think of you often and send our love to you, especially on this day,
